The Urban Forest Project included an exciting mentoring component organized by AIGA DC. Teams of local designers and high school students from Luke C. Moore Academy created banners for public display alongside the professional and college student artwork.
In addition, students from the Corcoran College of Art + Design designed a portion of the banners as part of their curricula.
